The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DLC Worldwide for the provision of training and development to the public, private and development sectors.
DLC Wordwide will collaborate with the LCCI to provide high quality training in supply chain, banking, logistics, operations management, sales and marketing management, logistic consultancy and human resource development. The first phase of the programme will be in Lahore, while second phase programmes are to be carried out all over Pakistan.
DLC Worldwide’s CEO, Alan Linden, said that Pakistan has seen keen growth in its education sector, but has a growing need for professional education. Linden said that the training programmes provided by DLC Worldwide Pakistan would provide long term benefits, aiding sustainable development and improving the employability of the population both locally and nationally.
LCCI Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad said that the Memorandum of Understanding with DLC Worldwide would help pave the way towards a solution to the issues being faced by trade and industry in Pakistan in terms of the availability of skilled workers.
