DLC Worldwide in... Africa

In 2009 DLC Worldwide was invited to take part in the creation of the 'Nigerian Content Academy' to design a diverse curriculum that will establish a core level of knowledge and competence, through customised training in relation to the cultural, economic and long term development needs of the country.

DLC Worldwide has now fully established itself in Nigeria, having signed a partnership agreement in April 2011 with Flintdredgers Global Services Limited, and now has offices based in Lagos. The Nigerian Content Academy will be in a position to deliver educational and vocational courses on a local, regional and national industrial and economic scale, establishing itself as a regional centre of 'Excellence'.

The training programmes written by DLC Worldwide (Africa) provide a fundamental customised skill for all industrial sectors. The longer term benefits improve the employability of the local and wider population, thus ensuring that the development is sustainable through indigenous means thereby reducing the dependence upon external resources and expatriates.
